BJP Slams Congress After PM Modi Names Chandrayaan-3 Landing Sites ‘Shivshakti Point’

BJP Spokesperson Shehzaad Poonawala has slammed Congress for naming the ‘Impact/Landing Points of Chandrayaan-2 ‘Jawahar point.’

The BJP Leader alleged grand old party for prioritizing his family first after Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday named the Impact/Landing Point of Chandrayaan-2 and Chandrayaan-3 ‘Tiranga Point’ and ‘Shivshakti Point.’

Taking to X (formerly known as Twitter), BJP spokesperson Shehzaad Poonawala alleged that “had it been UPA they would have never sent Chandrayaan 2 & 3 & if they did they would have named it Indira Point and Rajiv Point.”

Notably, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday named the landing point of Chandrayaan-2 and Chandrayaan-3 as ‘Tiranga Point’ and ‘Shivshakti Point.’ Prime Minster also announced August 23 as ‘National Space Day.’
