Bihar || Zahiruddin Lynched To Death For Carrying Animal Bones In Truck; FIR Lodged

In a shocking turn of events, a man identified as Zahiruddin, reportedly killed on Wednesday night in Bihar’s Saran district by a mob for transporting animal bones in a truck.

Reportedly, Zahiruddin, worked as a truck driver and was accompanied by his son, Ghulam Rasool, when mob attacked him. Police has informed that 20 people have been detained for questioning and four have been arrested.

Police informed that deceased and his son were on the way to a bone factory in Gaura with animal bones in their container. Police claimed that a foul smell coming from the containers led to suspicion that attracted the crowd.

When crowd forcibly investigated the container, the crowd spotted bones in the container. The crowd got really infuriated spotting the bones in the container and hence; they attacked Zahiruddin.

Meanwhile, police informed that they took Zahiruddin to the hospital for treatment but he could not survive and eventually succumbed to injuries. An FIR under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code has been registered and investigation is on.
