Bihar || NCPCR takes suo moto cognizance of 7-year-old girl’s body found stuffed inside sack

Bihar: The National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR) has taken suo moto cognizance of murder of a seven-year-old girl by her neighbour in the name of human sacrifice in Kolkata’s Tiljala area.

NCPCR has written to West Bengal DGP and sought a detailed report within 48 hours. Ever since the news broke out, locals vandalised several vehicles, alleging ‘delay’ in police action to search the missing girl.

BJP media cell in-charge Amit Malviya took to Twitter on Monday to share visuals from the protest site. He questioned the state government led by CM Mamata Banerjee about the deteriorating law and order situation.

As per reports, the accused has confessed that he abducted and murdered the girl after a tantrik told him that it will help him to get biological child.
