WATCH: Bhopal-New Delhi Vande Bharat Train Catches Fire; No Casualty

A fire broke out in the battery box of a coach of the Vande Bharat train heading from Bhopal to New Delhi on Monday morning.

As per reports the fire broke out when the train departed from Rani Kamalapti station towards Nizamuddin in New Delhi. Watch the video here.

VIDEO | A fire broke out in a coach of Vande Bharat Express going from Bhopal to Delhi's Hazrat Nizamuddin Terminal at Kurwai Kethora railway station in Madhya Pradesh earlier today. No injury was reported in the incident.

The battery box of Vande Bharat Train Expressway will be examined:

“Report of a fire in the battery box of Vande Bharat Express 20171, that plies from Rani Kamlapati Station to Nizamuddin was received. Smoke was seen. The train was stopped at Kurwai Kethora station. Fire brigade extinguished the fire and all the passengers are safe. The battery box will be examined,” Rahul Shrivastava, West Central Railway Chief Public Relations Officer said.

As reported by PTI, there were 20-22 passengers in the coach and they were shifted to other coaches immediately. No injury was reported in the incident.
