Hours after Virat Kohli posted his Yo-Yo test score on social media, the Indian team management has asked it’s players to ‘avoid’ putting their fitness score in the publica domain.
As per fresh reports, BCCI top brass is not very happy with Virat Kohli flaunting his yo-yo test score, which is supposed to be kept confidential.
“The happiness of finishing the YoY o test between the dreaded cones. 17.2 don,” Kohli had posted on Instagram earlier.
In a verbal communication, players have been asked to restrain themselves from posting any confidential matter on social media platforms.
“They can post pictures while training but posting a score leads to breach of contract clause,” a BCCI source was quoted by the Indian Express.
Ahead of the Asia Cup 2023, the team management is conducting a six-day conditioning camp which began on Thursday.
Reportedly, players like Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Hardik Pandy, Ravindra Jadeja and Md. Shami went through yo-yo test to assess their fitness and endurance status.
Rohit Sharma-led team is likely to leave for Colombo on August 30 and will kick start their Asia Cup campaign on September 2 against arch-rival Pakistan.
