Ayodhya Airport To Be Completed By September: Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia
Union Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia on Wednesday said that the Ayodhya airport construction will be completed by September.
As reported by Times of India, the Airport Authority of India had told the daily publication that the night and fog landing facilities is in place and the first phase of airport operation is expected to receive license by October this year from the Directorate General of Civil Aviation.
“Spread over 6250 square meters, the interim terminal building of the airport, depicting a grand Ram temple, will provide a spiritual experience to the passengers, also depict the life cycle of Lord Shri Ram and open new doors of regional prosperity through religious tourism,” tweeted Union Minister.
As per reports, Ayodhya airport will have 2,200 metre long runway which can handle landing and take-off Airbus A320, ATR-72 and Bombardier private jets.
