Assam: Minor Found Hanging In BJP MP’s House

Body of a 10-year-old child was reportedly found at the residence of BJP MP Rajdeep Roy in Assam’s Silchar on Saturday.

As per PTI, Cacha Additional Superintendent of Police has confirmed that body was found with a cloth wrapped around the next.

The victim’s mother was working in the house of the BJP leader as a domestic help for two-and-a-half years and was originally from Dholai area.  

Rajdeep Roy has informed that the body of a body was found hanging at his home, after which he was rushed to a hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead.

“The family was residing on the first floor of the building. The young boy was well-manner and I had personally enrolled him in school. His mother is a responsible parent. She said the family had shared a meal together. As the mother and daughter were leaving, the boy asked for his mother’s phone as they were stepping out,” the BJP leader said.

The police is suspecting a suicide case. The investigation is underway.
