Asia Cup 2023: Jasprit Bumrah Rejoins Team India Ahead Of Pakistan Clash

New dad in the squad, Jasprit Bumrah has joined back Team India in the Sri Lanka ahead of yet another crucial clash against Pakistan, scheduled on September 10, 2023.
As per fresh reports, Bumrah arrived in Colombo early on Friday. Notably, BCCI granted him short break as he and his wife welcomed a son on Monday.
Jasrit Bumrah took part in the first game against Pakistan on September 2 but missed second game against Nepal.
The ongoing Asia Cup 2023 holds lot of importance for the Indian pacer as he made a recovery after 10 months of prolonged recovery.

Meanwhile, Bumrah is yet to prove his prowess in the ongoing Asia Cup as the second innings of the Ind vs Pak match on Sep 2 was washed out due to rain.
Team India has qualified for the Super 4 stage and will now take on Pakistan on September 10. Bumrah has been an integral part of the squad and will play a significant role in Asia Cup and upcoming World Cup 2023.
