Ashes 2023: Stuart Broad Gets David Warner in the 1st Over of 3rd Ashes Test vs Aus.

Leeds: The 3rd Ashes Test between Australia and England started on a positive note for host as its experienced fast bowler Stuart Broad provided much-needed earlier breakthrough to his side in the very first over of the match.

After winning the toss and opting to fielding first, England skipper Ben Stokes asked Broad to start the proceedings and much to his reputation, veteran hunted down prized wicket of David Warner in the fifth delivery of the 1st over.

Stuart Broad bowled a full length delivery on the fifth stump of David Warner, but a thick outside edge went straight to the England’s wicket-keeper who took a incredible catch to sent Warner home.

Warner could only contribute with just one boundary and his dismissal reduced Australia to 4/1 (0.5). After winning first two games of the high-stake contest, Australia must be hoping to finish thing off by winning Headingly Test.

Meanwhile, England is hopeful of brilliant comeback to open their account in the bilateral.
