Armed Assailants Throw Chilli Powder On Police; Shoot Rajasthan Gangster Dead

Months after dreaded gangster turned politician Atiq Ahmed was merciless shot dead in police custody in Uttar Pradesh’s Prayagraj, another gangster today in Rajasthan met with similar fate.

Gangster Kuldeeep Jaghina – accused in the murder case – was shot dead by criminals in Rajasthan’s Bharatpur on Wednesday in police custody.

The criminals reportedly threw chilli powder into the eyes of the police and, took the advantage of the situation to shot the gangster.

What exactly happened

As reported by India Today, around eight men barged inside a Rajasthan Roadways bus and shot dead Kuldeep Jaghina – who was being escorted by a police team for a court hearing in Bharatpur.

Reportedly, another murder accused was injured in the firing, and currently admitted in hospital. 

Police’s claims:

Police informed that the bus was stopped near Amoli toll plaza in Bharatpur by around 8 men who came in a car and two motorcycles. They forcibly entered the bus and hurled chilli powder on the policemen and started firing on Kuldeep Jagheena.

The deceased gangster was being taken to Bharatpur from Jaipur by a team of seven policemen led by a head constable armed with two semi-automatic rifles.

Accused identified:

Meanwhile, the police said they have identified the culprits with the help of CCTV footage and a vehicle has been recovered.

Jagheena accused in murder of a BJP leader:

The deceased was a prime accused in the murder of a BJP leader Kripal Jaghina. The BJP leader was shot dead on September 4, 2022.
