Anushka Sharma Declines To Replace Priyanka Chopra in Farhan Akhtar’s Jee Le Zara: Report

Farhan Akhtar’s Jee Le Zara has been in the news for over the last few weeks for more than one reason. After Priyanka Chopra reportedly walked out of the project due to her prior commitments, reports suggested that Farhan had approached Anushka Sharma in place of Priyanka Chopra.

However, fresh reports in the matter hinted that Anushka Sharma too has declined the offer citing date issues.

“Anushka was excited about the idea of a female-led journey of self-discovery, but the shooting timelines were not matching with her calendar. She has to balance her personal life with her professional and allotting the number of days that Farhan asked for was not possible. The dates are aligning well with Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt, but it was not with Anushka,” source told Bollywood Hungama.

Due to the date issues, Farhan Akhtar has put Jee Le Zara on hold and likely to focus on Amir Khan’s produced Champion for now.
