Akshay Kumar Postpones OMG 2 Trailer Release

Entertainment: Following the sad demise of art-director Nitin Desai, Akshay Kumar has postponed the trailer release of his upcoming film OMG 2.

He made the announced viral Twitter post and said that he was extremely sad to know about the death of Nitin Desai.

“Out of respect, we are not releasing the OMG 2 trailer today. Will launch it tomorrow at 11am. Om Shanti,” Akshay Kumar tweeted.

He further said that the demise of Nitin Das is a huge loss to the industry as he was ‘the stalwart in production design.’

“Unbelievably sad to know about the demise of Nitin Desai. He was a stalwart in production design and such a big part of our cinema fraternity. He worked on so many of my films… this is a huge loss,” he tweeted.

Nitin Das was found dead in his Mumbai studio on August 2 (Tuesday) by the Mumbai police. Das had worked in films like Lagaan, Slumdog Millionaire Hum Dil De Chuka Sanam etc.
