No Car In Dowry! Agra Man Gives Triple Talaq After Two Hours Of Marriage

Agra: A shocking incident of instant triple talaq has once again shocked Uttar Pradesh as a newly wed man in Agra pronounced ‘talaq’ thrice, mere two hours after performing getting married.

But, why?

As per reports the groom announced ‘triple talaq’ after he learnt that a car was missing from his dowry.

As per Bribe’s brother, quoted by India Today, two of his sisters – Dolly and Gauri – got married on the same day at a marriage hall on Agra’s Fatehabad road.

What went wrong?

As per reports, Dolly’s groom, identified as Md. Asif, got upset when he got to know that there was no car in the dowry as earlier demanded by his family.

Asif’s family got infuriated and forced Dolly’s parents to either immediately arrange a car or give them Rs. 5 Lakh. When the family rejected to fulfil either of the demand, Asif pronounced triple talaq.

What now?

An FIR has been lodged against Asif and six others based on a complaint filed by Kamran Wasi, who has demanded immediate arresting of seven named in the FIR.
