Advocate of conman posing as PMO official in J&K alleges involvement of other man
Days after alleged conman Kiran J Patel – held for posing as Prime Minister’s office official while taking trip to Jammu and Kashmir, his advocate Rehan Gohar claimed the involvement of others by stating that felicitating such high-level security and protocols was a big deal.
“As per Kiran Patel’s statement, all allegations are baseless and subject to trial. The accused’s family says it is a reflection of some political rivalry. The police recorded his statement under 164A before the magistrate and other person was set free by them in Nishad,” the advocate said.
Notably, Kiran Patel was arrested by security officials on March 3 and has been sent to 15-day judicial custody by a Jammu and Kashmir court on Friday.
