296 People Died As 6.8 Magnitude Earthquake Jolts Morocco

At least 296 people were killed and dozens sustained injuries after a powerful earthquake of magnitude 6.8 struck central Morocco late on Friday.
Morocco’s Interior Ministry informed on Saturday that at least 296 people had dies in provinces near the quake.
Reportedly 153 people were injured and sent to hospitals.
Taking to X, Prime Minister Narendra Modi condoled the deaths due to earthquake and expressed grief.
The epicenter of Friday’s termor was in the Atlas Mountains roughly 70 KMs sough of Marrakech.
