2 Pilots Missing After Army’s Cheetah Helicopter Crash In Arunachal

An Indian Army chopper crashed near Mandala in Andhra Pradesh. According to reports, two crewmen – Lieutenant Colonel VV Reddy and a Major Jayant – are missing. 

The Indian Army has confirmed that the aircraft lost control with the Air Traffic Controller at 9:15 AM, on Thursday. 

“Army Aviation Cheetah helicopter flying an operational sortie near Bomdila Arunachal Pradesh was reported to have lost contact with the ATC at around 9:15 AM on March 16, 2023,” Army said. 

Meanwhile, search operation is underway.
