11 Billion Minutes, 4.5 Billion Kilometers, Earth to Neptune – How India cabbed Uber in 2022

Around 11 billion minutes, a total of 4.5 billion kilometers, most Uber trips taken by Indians were booked between 5 pm and 6 pm and many more interesting revelations have been made in Uber India’s annual report.

In its report, the company claimed that Indians covered the distance of 4.5 billion kilometers, which is the distance from Earth all the way to Neptune, the last planet in the solar system since Pluto got kicked out of the list.

As per report, most Uber trips booked by Indians were between 5 pm and 6 pm, while Saturday emerged as the most popular day of the week. The riding/hailing company also revealed that the most popular product in terms of the number of trips was Uber Go, followed by Uber Auto.

Meanwhile, Uber also revealed that Delhi-NCR topped the list of cities with the jiggliest number of Uber trips in 2022 followed by Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Mumbai and Kolkata.

“While the Delhi-NCR did have the overall highest number of trips, it also had the highest number of trips, it also has the highest number of office-hour trips, which shows how Delhiites and their neighbors in Gurgaon, Noida, Faridabad, and Ghaziabad chose to make their way back to work from the office,” read the statement from Uber India.

Munshi-Pune, Mumbai-Nashik, Delhi-Agra, Jaipur-Chandigarh and Lucknow to Kanpur were identified as top five cities with intercity routes in 2022.

The company further informed that October 22 (Dhanteras eve) saw the highest number of your aflame deliveries through Uber Connect in 2022.
